Penny University is a new Coffee bar in the trendy London neighborhood of Shoreditch. They will only be serving Brewed Coffee “they state that brewed coffee has been “unjustly overshadowed by espresso,” then note that to keep things “honest and transparent,” no milk or sugar will be made available”.
I saw the Céleste Boursier-Mougenot installation at the Barbican at the weekend. It’s well worth a visit if you are in London. The installation features loads of tiny Finches flying around and landing on electric guitars and cymbals.
Any recommendations?
I’m spending a long weekend in London so I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for things to do? I got to London quite a bit so I’ve been to the Tate, the London Eye etc, any hidden spots I might have missed?
I found an article about London’s best coffee shops so I might see how many of them I can visit before I start hearing voices. I also want to find some good independent record shops to waste hours in.
I’m considering taking my laptop and a mobile broadband dongle but if not I will only have my phone so probably wont update my blog much. If I do take my laptop I will do some posts from the big smoke!
